No seriously guys, I keep seeing these people on dA that are drawing self portraits of themselves that are OVERLY flattering, and frankly it irritates me. I mean I know some people are honestly cute, and very very attractive. But everyone has flaws, and not everyone is super sexy skinny tall gorgeous long hair fucking lovely desu fucking kawaii. So I want something to happen. If you're tired of this as well, and willing to bring said flaws to light, I want you in on this.

I don't care if you draw yourself sorta cute, but I want some flaws shown. Give me something closer to what you actually look like. Doesn't have to be realism, no no. It doesn't have to be horribly unflattering, I just want some goddamn flaws. Serious acne? Sure. Frizzy hair? Do it. Mole with a hair sprouting from it on your neck? EVEN BETTER. You don't need to spend ages and ages on this picture, I spent like three on mine. Just show the damn flaws.

You know Frida Kahlo, I really respect her. If I had a unibrow, I honestly could never paint my own self portrait. I'm waaaay too self concious for that. Really.

I have my hair constantly in my face to hide that my eyebrows are not exactly to my liking. They're seperated yes, but a little thick OTL, I'm covered in freckles, I'm short and I'm not super skinny either, my feet are a bit big and my shoes are even bigger, so I seem a bit clownish. And to my horror because I love having my sleeves rolled up, I kinda have manly arms. I'm serious. They're not like BAM FUCKING BLACK BUSHY HAIR but they're kinda hairy for a female. And I have a freckle on my left arm that sprouts a bit of a darker hair on it, and that bothers me too. And since I have a manly face and sorta manly body, I guess only bisexuals would ever like me. People always think I'm a guy. OTL
